Here's one of my new favourite cycling routes near Horsham. It's a 20 mile loop in a big circle round Horsham on a mixture of quiet country lanes and off-road bridleways. It's not extreme mountain biking, far from it - but that suits me. It's a good route for a quick getaway on your bike - and there are a few pubs on the way which I think I will be frequenting when the weather gets a bit better!

Nice local pub about a mile from Horsham town centre. Walled garden at the back of the pub is delightful in the summer. Last time I was there, after a bike ride, it was the ideal spot to recuperate with a beer or two.
